Overhead Track Busway

Starline Track Busway is a revolutionary, overhead power distribution system that is available in various sizes from 40 to 1250 amps. The system’s most unique feature includes a continuous access slot, meaning power can be tapped at any location. This flexibility makes it the ideal solution for environments that are looking to expand or change layouts; or those who would simply like to have these options available for the future.

Other main benefits of the Starline Track Busway product include reduced facility construction costs, faster installation and the ability to customize solutions to fit your needs. Starline Plug-in Units can also be disconnected and connected without de-energizing the busway and the product requires no routine maintenance.

First introduced in 1987, Starline Track Busway is now the industry-leading electrical power distribution system for the data center/mission critical, retail, industrial, and higher education markets – or for any facility where flexible power is needed. There are three main things that differentiate Starline from other competing systems: the highest quality materials and design, unmatchable flexibility with customizable plug-in units, and the best service.

From day one, Starline Track Busway has been built with top-notch materials, including solid copper busbars and a lightweight, durable yet compact aluminum outer shell. Being UL, ETL listed and CE marked for use anywhere in the world, the busway is superiorly designed with patented u-shaped copper busbars that create constant tension, which ensure a continuous, reliable connection to power.

The first-of-its-kind continuous access slot that runs along the bottom of the system presents you with the flexibility of being able to easily change or add to operational layouts in the future without losing any uptime- simply insert a plug-in unit wherever power is required.

In addition, Starline Plug-In Units are safe and easy to install—just insert and turn with no complicated mechanisms or levers—and can also be completely customized based on your specifications. The various configurations possible include options for outlets, drop cords, circuit breakers, fused disconnects, terminal blocks and power metering. No matter what the specifications, we will provide compact and reliable Starline Plug-In Units that are specially tailored to fit your needs.

Next Generation Raceway for Today’s Power Needs

Starline Plug-In Raceway incorporates the concept of flexibility in a wall-mounted power distribution system. Instead of having fixed outlets along a wall that come with traditional wiring methods, Plug-In Raceway offers receptacles that can be snapped in anywhere along the installed backplane- supplying a connection to power wherever it’s needed.

Starline Plug-In Raceway has the unique ability to add or relocate plug-in modules anywhere on the raceway quickly and easily—making it the perfect solution to meet the ever-changing power distribution and datacom needs of research, pharmaceutical and university labs, hospitals, fitness and data centers. Starline’s innovative, reconfigurable design completely eliminates the added cost of an electrician to reconfigure circuits, receptacles and wiring. With Plug-In Raceway, you have the advantage of arranging your electrical outlets based upon the needs of your workspace, not arranging your workspace based around your electrical outlets.
